Truecaller Q3 Sales Rise 3% as Premium Subscriptions Offset Ad Decline

Truecaller AB (OMXSTO:TRUE_B) reported preliminary, unaudited third-quarter 2026 results, showing net sales of 464 million SEK, a 3% increase year-over-year on a constant-currency basis. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization reached 147.6 million SEK, representing an EBITDA margin of 31.8% and a 68% sequential increase from the second quarter excluding non-recurring items. Class B shares rose 4.46% to 24.38 SEK following the update.

The financial results reflect a shift toward subscription and enterprise monetization, which helped cushion ongoing weakness in advertising. Premium revenue grew 32% year-over-year in constant currency to 127.1 million SEK, while Truecaller for Business sales increased 14% to 85.1 million SEK. These gains helped offset a 12% constant-currency drop in advertising revenue, which totaled 245.6 million SEK despite improving from the previous quarter.

Investors will look for final audited third-quarter results on November 3, 2026, to confirm whether profit margins remain above 30%. Key future catalysts include whether advertising revenue can sustain sequential gains on the company's new ad platform and if subscriber growth continues to support average revenue per user.
