Greencells GmbH Reports Record 2025 Earnings as Revenue Surges 44%

Solar and storage infrastructure provider Greencells GmbH posted record financial performance for fiscal year 2025, returning to profitability after a corporate restructuring. Annual revenue surged 43.9% year-on-year to EUR 165.3 million, up from EUR 114.8 million in 2024. Operating profit (EBIT) swung to positive EUR 9.6 million from an operating loss of EUR 21.6 million the previous year, achieving an EBIT margin of 5.8%. Consolidated net income reached EUR 6.9 million, compared to a net loss of EUR 17.7 million in 2024.

The financial recovery follows a 2024 strategic realignment in which the company divested its project development division to focus exclusively on engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services. The balance sheet was further reinforced when shareholder Zahid Group expanded its equity stake to 92.5% in early 2025. Full-year sales, operating earnings, and net return on sales all surpassed the company's initial targets, supported by new order intake exceeding EUR 182 million.

Looking ahead, Greencells GmbH expects full-year 2026 EBIT to range between EUR 8.75 million and EUR 9.25 million as utility-scale projects progress. Operational developments in 2026 include project completions across the UK, Germany, Romania, and Ireland, along with a strategic alliance with Desay ESS to supply integrated battery energy storage solutions across European markets.
