Google Launches Universal Gemini Agent for Enterprise AI

Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) has introduced a new universal Gemini assistant designed to handle multiple workplace tasks from a single interface. Announced at a company conference, the tool can manage coding, content creation, research, and business inquiries. It integrates directly with existing productivity applications like Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, and already features versions customized for the legal and financial sectors.

The launch comes as the company seeks to secure its position as the primary artificial intelligence platform for large corporations. Cloud division revenue reached $24.8 billion in the second quarter, representing an 82% increase compared to the previous year. Customer adoption is also expanding, with approximately 80% of cloud clients now utilizing its artificial intelligence tools, and nearly 90% of Fortune 100 firms employing the enterprise version of Gemini.
